L'HUB - rigenerazione tessile
A creative work-shop for everybody, that wants to reclaim the human value behind each object. A project that wants to re-ignite the creativity inside of each one of us.
With a degree in science of education and a passion for individuals’ true identities, Barbara has always been fascinated by the way space can be used as a learning and creative container and she reach this across the textile world where her personal roots go deeply (her surname - Zucchi and Frua - represent families that have been in textile industry since 19th century).
L’HUB grows out of this personal background as a place for TEXTILE REGENERATION: a social business format where to spent time wishing to reconnect with manual skills and rediscover the pleasure of co-creating in a very informal way; a space that helps people manufacture, purchase and sell self-made textile products; a place where to reclaim the arts and craft value behind each object (made by me); an association to give socio-economic chance to all women learning how to use a sewing machine to help themselves; a workshop for young talented where to put hands on textile and featured their product!
